Preparation
Race Pace Track Days are designed for advanced riders, emphasizing safety and performance. While we do not conduct a formal tech inspection, we expect all participants to self-inspect their motorcycles and gear. Arrive with a bike that is safe and in top condition, along with appropriate riding equipment. Your preparation is crucial for your safety and the safety of others on the track.
Motorcycle Requirements & Preparation
- A clean, road-worthy motorcycle with properly operating controls is required.
- Engine in good running condition with no leaks.
- Tires in new or near-new condition.
- Safety wire or RTV silicone adhesive is required on the oil drain bolt and recommended on other critical fasteners.
- Wheel weights must be duct-taped.
- Mirrors must be taped or removed.
- Taillight must be taped, and the brake light completely covered or disabled to avoid distracting following riders.
- Minimum 250 cc displacement.
Rider Equipment
- Full coverage leathers (one piece or top and bottom zipped together); lightweight mesh suits are not acceptable.
- Leather or Kevlar riding gloves extending above the wrist.
- Leather riding boots extending above the ankle.
- A DOT and/or Snell approved full-face helmet with no damage.
